Journal of food and fiber production (J. F. & F. P.) publishes high-quality commissioned and non-commissioned articles, In English, in all areas of agriculture including soil science and land resources management, stored products research, tree fruit production, pest management, post-harvest biology and technology, seed science research, agricultural engineering, food chemistry, food micro biology, food technology and processing, biotechnology, agronomy, animal science, anatomy, physiology and morphology, crop science, dairy science, entomology, aquaculture, fish and fisheries, forestry, horticulture, livestock science, systematic biology, veterinary science, weed biology, agricultural economics, extension services and agribusiness. Manuscripts on economic and ethical issues relating to biotechnology research are also considered. All articles published in J. F. & F. P. will be peer-reviewed. Articles must present scientific results that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. J. F. & F. P. is a publication hosted in the faculty of Agriculture, Umuahia Campus, Abia State University, P. M. B 7010 Umuahia, Nigeria. This Journal is published twice in a year
